Hi, I'm Nikki. I didn't start NailzExtensions with some big business plan I started it because I was tired of the same letdown every nail brand promises: salon-quality nails, delivered to your door. I'd order a set, wait a week, and end up with press-ons that lifted, chipped, or just didn't look like the photos. If that sounds familiar, you already know why this site exists.
I'm not a big salon with a marketing team. I'm just one person who got a little obsessed with a simple question: why should beautiful, long-lasting nails mean choosing between an expensive salon chair or a flimsy drugstore box? I don't think it should and that question is basically the whole reason this site exists.
How it actually started
It began with a lot of testing. Dozens of shapes, glues, and finishes on my own nails, on friends, on anyone patient enough to give me honest feedback. Most of it didn't work. Nails that looked perfect in a photo would crack the moment real life happened typing, doing dishes, a gym day. I kept going back to the drawing board until I found shapes and a process that actually held up, not just for a photoshoot. That's still the standard I hold everything on this site to if something can't survive a real week on real hands, I don't share it.
Nails as self-expression, not just decoration
Whether you're getting ready for something special or just want your hands to feel a little more put-together on an ordinary Tuesday, I think a good set of nails should make you feel more like you, just a little more finished. That's also how I try to run this whole site — honestly, fairly, and without cutting corners just because no one's watching. It shows up in the small decisions you might never notice, but I do.
